Ping Pong

Filed under: Sports — raheja @ 7:29 pm

Ping Pong is one of the most popular games in software industry. At Adi’s marriage in Indore, learnt few techniques about the game from Amal, which actually brought me some easy wins here… so thought better to blog them all-

  • Varying pace of chop/strokes in two consecutive returns actually confuses your opponent, thereby providing you an opportunity for easy smash
  • Aim close to the net or deep in opponent’s court. Returns, those are deep in opponent’s court, look easy to smash, however, most of the opponents smash them to net, thereby, give away an easy point
  • A good service can always let you in a good position to play offensive shots. A good strategy is to vary your service, so that every time, opponent has to think about the serve and is not able to play an offensive shot on it

I will keep updating the post with more tips and tricks. Meanwhile all of you are welcome to add more tips and tricks in comments section
